Obituary of Waffer Markcray

Waffer Markcray, 81, formerly of Texarkana, Texas, departed this this life July 6, 2011 at her home in Houston, Texas. She was a retired teacher, and she was affiliated with the Greater Northeast Antioch Baptist Church, where she was a Missionary, Kitchen Aide, Usher Board Member, Fundraiser Committee, and Auxiliary Committee. She is survived by one son, Herman Charles Brown of Inglewood, California; one daughter, Mattie Robinson of Texarkana, Texas; two sisters, Carrie Brown of Texarkana, Texas and Emma Holey of San Francisco, California; three sisters-in-law, Bessie Mae Brown of Saginaw, Michigan, Ella Mae Brown of San Francisco, California, and Wilma Brown of San Francisco, California; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and twelve great-greatgrandchildren.
