Mrs. Della Mae Henson, 65 of Texarkana, Texas departed this life on Thursday March 13, 2025 in a Texarkana, Texas Hospice facility. Mrs. Henson was born February 2, 1960 to the late HB Henson Sr. and Gertrude Henson. She was a member of New Baptist Bible Fellowship. She loved attending church every Sunday until her health worsened. Mrs. Henson worked for the Southwestern Electric Company where she loved cleaning as a janitor. Mrs. Della Mae Henson received her high school diploma at Texas High School. Mrs. Henson was loved and well respected by all her family and friends, who will truly miss her.

Della Mae Henson was preceded in death by her parents, HB Henson Sr. (Chicago, IL) and mother, Gertrude Henson (Texarkana, TX); four brothers: JB Henson, Henry Lee Henson, HB Henson Jr., Elzie Henson; and one sister: Gertrude Henson (Bae Bae)

Della’s memories will live on and forever cherished by:

Daughter: Quoyetta Henson-Dancer (Antonio Dancer)

Sons: Derrick Henson and Donnell Henson

Brother: Johnnie Henson (Georgia Henson)

Sister: Marcella Henson

Grandchildren: Latonia Dancer, Keondra Dancer, Antonio Dancer Jr., Destiny Henson, Derrion Henson, D. J. Henson, Jariyah Henson, DeMari Henson, and Déjà Henson

Great-grandchildren: Aubrey Butler, Aria Butler, and Keylan Arnold Jr.

Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives & friends.
