Shamyra was born in Los Angeles, California on June 16,

1998, to Shanaz and Deyon. Her untimely demise was May

3, 2025 at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System in

Texarkana, Texas.

She attended a lot of schools throughout her life. She

attended and graduated from LaSalle Elementary School

in California, Liberty Pointe in Union City, Georgia, and

Henderson Mill Middle School and Mt. Zion High School in

Morrow, Georgia. She obtained her associate degree in

pharmacy tech from Texarkana College, Texarkana, Texas.

Early on she loved fashion, hair, nails, modeling and

driving fast. She played sports only because mom pushed

her and she always wanted to make her proud.

She grew up in churches and was baptized and became a

spiritualist to aid in a chronic illness, Lupus. Despite her

disability, she still worked and lived independently.

Shamyra was preceded in death by Dyson. The memory of

her will continue to live on through her mom, Shanaz; dad,

Deyon; Samantha, DéArra, David, and DeòTay; along with a

host of cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, co-workers

and friends.
