Obituary of Debra Elkins-Neal

Debra Diane Elkins-Neal, 68, was born on October 4, 1956, to Lawrence and Dorothy Elkins. 

She finished her earthly journey on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

Debra was a member of the Mt. Addition Church of God in Christ in Texarkana, Arkansas; True Church of God Apostolic in Toledo, Ohio; and Bethesda Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Majorie Holt where she served in various capacities.

She worked for Northwest Ohio Disability Center where she later retired after twenty years.

Debra was preceded in death by her husband, Ober Neal; mother, Dorothy Mae Elkins; father, Lawrence Charles Elkins; four brothers, Lawrence Charles Elkins Jr., James Lee Elkins, Henry Charles Elkins, and Dennis Elkins; and two sisters, Brenda Kay Elkins and Vera Elkins.

Debra’s survivors include, two brothers, Robert Louis Elkins (Tucker, AR) and Jerry D. (& Patience) Elkins (Aurora, CO); her best friend, Chika Jones (Texarkana, TX); and a host of other family members and friends.
