Allen LaDale Smith was born on August 13, 1961 in New Boston, Texas. He grew up in the New Boston Community planting his first spiritual roots in the Arkadelphia Community at the Arkadelphia Baptist Church and Antioch Baptist Church. He was educated all twelve years in the New Boston Independent School District. Upon graduation, Allen began his work experience with the International Paper Company (sawmill division) in New Boston Texas. He would go on to work for Brown Root, Federal Corrections Institution – Texarkana, Barry Telford Unit – New Boston, Texas, and later becoming an owner/operator with his own truck delivering gasoline to many businesses.

 At an early age, Allen found joy in riding motorcycles and weight training.

 He was preceded in death by his dad, Samuel Smith; two siblings, Curtis Smith and Carlos Smith; two aunts; and three uncles.

Allen leaves behind to cherish his memories: a very special family in Dehlila, Kayce and Kelton Irving (Waskom, TX); daughter, Dawneisa Ross (Texarkana, TX); sons: Allen Smith Jr., Jamar Smith, and Dee Smith (all of Texarkana, TX); eight grandchildren; mother, Ruby Smith; brothers, Obie (Tungular) Smith, Jeffery Smith, Wallace Smith, Bill Brewer, and Carl (Regina) Brewer; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends and co-workers.
