Charlotte Ann House Obituary

 Charlotte Ann House was born to the late James House Sr. and Sally Gooden House the 4th day of June 1950. Charlotte attended school at New Boston ISD, going on to earn her Certificate of High School Equivalency from Texas Education Agency November 14, 1978.


Charlotte enlisted in the United States Navy in 1979. During her time of service, she was stationed in various locations including Guam, Germany, Hawaii, and other areas throughout her eleven years of enlistment. After retiring from the Navy in 1997, she returned home to work at RRAD/DLA for six years before retiring as a U.S. Navy Veteran.


She had a passion for music, family, and helping others any way she could. She was a member of Prosperity Missionary Baptist Church and served as an usher, on Usher Board #1. She also became a member of Princess of the Pacific Chapter No. 501 located at Honolulu, Hawaii and working under a charter from the Grand Chapter of the State of Texas, August 12th, 1995.


Charlotte was preceded death by her parents, James House Sr. and Sally Gooden House and siblings, Ermma (JL) Jennings, Lillie Pearl Gray, Honey Ray House, Beverly Ann House, Billy Gene House, Felisa Jean House, Harvey Lee House, Sammie Lee House Sr., and James House Jr.


Those left to cherish her beautiful memories include siblings, Tony Louise House Sr., Ethel Renae Chopp, Gregory House, and Melvin House; special nieces, Harvonica McFarland, Amenia Johnson, TraShay Vaughn, and Doris Mitchell; her beloved furbaby, Smokie House of eleven years; and special friends, Carolyn Mitchell, Sonia Gailes, and Janice Kelly.
