Embory Hamilton Jr., age seventy-six, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026. He was born on Wednesday, October 5, 1949 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Embory Sr. and Sarah Hamilton.

Em will be remembered for his outrageous humor, unapologetic jokes, Bernie Mac personality, and never the less sarcastic attitude.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Long Hamilton; two brothers, Joseph Hamilton and Terry Lynn Scott; two sisters, Martha Allen and Mary Hamilton; and one great-great-granddaughter, Ja’Dence Rayne Hamilton. 

He leaves to cherish his memories daughters, Amelia (Artis) Pryor, Sarah Minniefield (Bryant); sons, Steven (Lashunela) Hamilton, Emory Moore, and Clyde Moore; brothers, Clyde (Dorothy) Hamilton and Gary Scott; sisters, Betty (Billy) Hamilton, Dessie Hamilton, Vicky (Edward) Bradshaw, and Tina Ray all of Texarkana.

Eleven grandchildren, Darrell, Derrick, Roger (Jazmine) Ronnell, Marquincilla, Steven Jr., DeTreuna, Desmon, Zion, Landen, and Samantha Hamilton.

Eleven great-grandchildren and one special friend, Mammie.
