Gertrude V. Donaldson, 75, of Texarkana, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 in Texarkana. Mrs. Donelson was born March 8, 1940, in Clarksville. She was a member of College Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Willie Donelson of Texarkana; two sons, Wendall Donelson of Midwest City, Okla., and Gregory Donelson of Dallas; one daughter, Shaylan Moore of Bentonville, Ark; her mother, Vera Lee Deaver of Texarkana; seven brothers, Loerance Deaver Jr. of Dallas, George Deaver of North Carolina, Curtis Deaver of California, and James Deaver, Richard Deaver, Kenneth Deaver and Edward Deaver of Texarkana; two sisters, Gwen Deaver and Darnisha Haason of California; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at College Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Clifton Murry officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Richardson Hill Funeral. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body may be viewed noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Online registration is at richardsonhillfuneralhome.com.
