Ronald E. McDonald, 70, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. McDonald was born April 22, 1945, in Texarkana. He was retired from International Paper Company and a member of Lonoke Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Carol Hill McDonald of Texarkana; one son, Kendal Rhone of Texarkana; one daughter, Stacii Young of Nash, Texas; five brothers, Glenn McDonald of Texarkana, LeRoy McDonald of Atlanta, Ga., Don McDonald of McKinney, Texas, Michael McDonald of Katy, Texas, and Gary McDonald of Houston; one sister, Gwendolyn McDonald Hogg of Texarkana; one special aunt, LaErma White of Texarkana; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Lonoke Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Hill Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Online registration is at richardsonhillfuneralhome.com.
