Grover R. Davis, 73, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at his home. Mr. Davis was born February 7, 1943. He was a supervisor with Coca-Cola Bottling. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rucilla M. Davis. His survivors include one son, Robbie E. Davis of Dacula, Georgia.; one brother, Lawrence R. Davis of Texarkana; eight sisters, Victoria Davis of San Diego, Minnie Matlock of San Francisco, Ida Mildred Taylor, Mary McDonald, Gladys Pops, and Josephine Hill of Texarkana, Clarease Bunch of Omaha, Nebraska, and Lucille Wilson of Franklinton, Lousiana.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Mr. Davis' services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at New Town Baptist Church with the Rev. Derrick Davis officiating. His burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
