Obituary of Troy Cooper

Troy Cooper, 68, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at a local hospital. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, and he was a custom tailor. Several of his loved ones preceded him in death: his wife, Pat Cooper; mother, Larna Mae Cooper; father, Cornelius Cooper; four brothers, Billy Cooper, JamesCooper, Conwade Cooper, and Cornell Cooper; and one sister, Laurene Gowions. To cherish his memory, he leaves one son, Valton Troy Cooper of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Roy (Dorothy) Cooper of Chicago, Illinois and Londell (Julia) Cooper of Minneapolis, Minnesota; three sisters, Girlene Cooper of Texarkana, Texas, Otha (Johnny) Cooper of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Valma (James) Spigner of Carpentersville, Illinois; three sisters-in-law, Nikki Cooper, Sandra Cooper, and Dorothy Cooper; one brother-in-law, Charles Gowions; two special friends, Bishop Robison of Texarkana, Texas and Carolyn Murphy of Texarkana, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
