Obituary of Antwonette Lacole Criner

Antowonette LaCole Criner was born on June 27, 1983 to the parents of the (late) Tori Criner-Wilkerson (Kenneth Wilkerson) of Texarkana, Tx. and paternal father Don Wade of Atlanta, Tx.

Antowonette accepted Christ at an early age with the Sunset Missionary Baptist Church. And, later moved to Polly Chapel with her mother.

Antowonette attended schools in TISD where she graduated from OPTIONS class of 2000 and then attended Texarkana College briefly trying to obtain a nursing degree.

Antowonette (Nette) was taught at an early age about work ethics. She had numerous of jobs, but she realized that her niche was helping with the elderly. So, she got her CNA certification. Her last position was with Edgewood Manor.

Working with the elderly was a passion of hers and she also was elated to be able to care for her aunt and uncle in the same facility as well. Her patients loved her just like she loved them. Her hard work and dedication, tenacity, infectious

smile, bubbly spirit will truly be missed.

Miss Criner was proceeded in death by her mother Tori Criner-Wilkerson, brother Rashard Criner, maternal grandparents Johnnie and James Criner, and paternal sister Ashley Hill.

Miss Antowonette Criner’s life ended at the age of 40 on Saturday May 4, 2024. Her family and friends will definitely remember how she was a kindhearted loving person.

Antowonette Criner leaves behind her three lovely children: A’unisty Jefferson, C.J. Griffin, and Dymond Criner. Maternal brother Reginald Criner, stepdad Kenneth Wilkerson. Paternal siblings, Anthony Hawkins, Tiffany Wade-Royal, Allyson

Wade, Cristyle Smith, Brittanee Wade and Tempeset Blaylock. Special Aunt Sherry Randall, a host of nieces and nephews along with numerous other relatives and friends.
