Barbara Henderson, 54, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at her home. She was born June 28, 1958 to the late Charles Beal Henderson and Martha Sims (Holland). She had one son, Kenyon O'Sha Traylor and one Goddaughter, Shericka Willis. At an early age, she confessed Christ as her Savior; and she was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was a 1975 graduate of Arkansas High School, and she worked as a CNA in various nursing homes in the area. Her father, Charles Beal Henderson; mother, Martha Sims (Holland); stepfather, Willie T. Holland; grandfather and grandmother, Clifton Sims, Sr. and Mary Sims; and her uncle, Clifton Sims, Jr., preceded her in death. To cherish her memory, she leaves her son, Kenyon O'Sha Traylor; two sisters, Mavis Sims and Shirley Ann Henderson; three brothers, Bobby Henderson, Jerry Henderson, and Charles Floyd; four grandchildren, Keishia Montrol Traylor, Teishia Montreal Traylor, Jrianna Willis of Shreveport, Louisiana, and La'Nihya Willis of Shreveport, Louisiana; eight aunts: Maggie Sims Thomas (James), Margie Sims Golston (Steve), Rosie Sims Johnson, Margarita Woodberry, Grace Tennith, Leonia Henderson, Juanita Owens, and Ola Mae Johnson; three uncles, Cleveland Sims, Richard Sims, and Sam Sims; lifetime and special friend, Maurice "Scoop" Sanders; and other relatives and friends.
