Obituary of Mary Reece

Mary Reece, 95, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Reece was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board, Mission Made Choir, and the Robes for Children Choir. And she was a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents Julius and Nettie McKnight; two sons, Eddie Reece and James Reece; one daughter, Nettie May Reece; one brother, Homer McKnight; and one sister, Clevie Taylor. She is survived by three sons, Tony Reece of Cedar Hill, Texas, Terry Reece (Julia) of Detroit, Michigan, and Dennis Reece (Judy) of Ft. Worth, Texas; three daughters, Johnnie Porter of Texarkana, Texas, Vickie Reece of Texarkana, Texas, and Ima Gene Tyson of Cedar Hill, Texas; twenty-five grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren; twenty-seven great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
