Creola Dollarhide, 90, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at her home. Mrs. Dollarhide was affiliated with Polly Chapel Baptist Church, where she once served as an Usher, Deaconess, and Esther's Circle Member. She was also a past president of the Navy-Marine Mothers' Club, and and March of Dimes Central District Member. Those who preceded her in death were her husband, Joseph Dollarhide; two sons, James Lewis Dollarhide and Cleophus C. Dollarhide; one daughter, Roxie B. Dollarhide Henderson; her parents, Johnny and Hector Young; four sisters, Sally Bunn, Veola Brown, Viola Butler, and Ziola Smith; and two brothers, Pleas "Doc" Young, K.P. Young, and J.P. Young. She is survived by one son, Kenneth Jerome Dollarhide of Texarkana, Texas; three daughters, Patricia LaVern Dollarhide of Texarkana, Texas, Linda Dollarhide Anthony of Texarkana, Texas, and Brenda Joyce Dollarhide of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Dorothy Calloway of San Diego, California; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Booker Bunn, Jr.; one son-in-law, Joe Henderson; and many other relatives and friends.
