Obituary of Orlee Favors

Rev. Orlee Favors, 71, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in a local hospital. Rev. Favors was a member of Mt. Orange Baptist Church. He was an electronic radar scope repairman and an electronic specialist. He was also a Royal Arch International Mason, the Rose Hill Community President P-2 (1969-1970), and a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 51. Rev. Favors earned two degrees from the United Theological Seminary and The Seminary Extension Department. To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife, Gloria J. Favors, of Texarkana, Texas; one son, Orlee Favors, Jr. of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter, Sheron King of Houston, Texas; one brother, Steve Favors, Sr., of Grambling, Louisiana; one step-brother, Charles Favors, of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Willie Lee Lockett, of Longview, Texas; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Rev. Favors' funeral will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013 a Sunset Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. George Richardson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, Wake Village, Texas.
