Sue Strong, 68, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away June 18, 2013 in Texarkana. She was born to the late Roy and Dorothy Willis in Nash, Texas and was the third child out of ten children. Sue accepted Christ at an early age at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church. Before her health began to fail, she was a devoted member of the choir and the Kitchen Ministry. She went to grade school at Center Point School in Nash, Texas and graduated from Macedonia High School. Until she retired, she was employed with Jordan Health Care. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Kapes A. Strong, Jr.; two brothers: Lonnie Willis and Edward Willis; and one sister, Billie Thomas. She is survived by two sons: Anthony (Denish) Strong of Wake Village, Texas and Steven Strong of Nash Texas; two daughters: Shonda Strong and Emeki Strong--both of Texarkana, Texas; five brothers: Elton (Monica) Willis of Texarkana, Texas, Gerald (Rosa) Willis, Kenneth Willis, Ronnie Willis, and Patrick Willis--all of Nash, Texas; one sister: Cheryl (Tyrone) Hooks of Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren: Devin Strong, Alexandria Strong, and Maliki Stephens; and several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
