It saddens me to learn of the death of a classmate. Family and friends: It’s true that death brings sorrow and tears, and it is hard to adjust to the absence of a loved one. But what comfort and strength we gain from the assurance at Isaiah 25:8, 9 that the Sovereign Lord “will actually swallow up death forever, and . . . will wipe the tears from all faces”!
