Obituary of Sonjha Banks

Sonjha Banks, 37, of Hooks, Texas, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at her home. Ms. Banks was affiliated with Red Springs Baptist Church, and she was a cosmetologist at Changes Salon. She is survived by her parents: Alice Mae Runnels of Hooks, Texas and Johnnie Lee Banks of Chicago, Illinois; four brothers: Terry Joe Runnels of Hooks, Texas, LaJonte James of Hooks, Texas, Bryon James of Texarkana, Texas, and Marcus Brown of Mansfield, Texas; one sister: Kathy Runnels of Grand Prairie, Texas; two Godsisters: Monica Harper of Texarkana, Texas and Jackie Johnson of Grand Prairie, Texas; one special sister: Kesha Kelley of Hooks, Texas; five nephews; three nieces; two grand-nephews; three uncles; three aunts; and other relatives and friends.
