James D. Williams, 66, of DeKalb, Texas, departed this life September 26, 2013 in DeKalb, Texas.
Mr. Williams was born January 27, 1947 in Barnwell, South Carolina.
He was affiliated with Church of God International and a laboratory operator at Dow Chemical of Freeport, Texas.
Mr. Williams was predeceased by three brothers: John Henry Williams Jr., Schuler Williams, and Wilbert Williams and one sister: Marilyn King.
He is survived by his wife: Laurice A. Williams of DeKalb, Texas; five sons: Kennth Alexander Moore of Freeport, Texas, Wendell Lamont Williams of DeKalb, Texas, Alphonse Harris of Atlanta, Georgia, Drew David (Bernadette) Williams of Pretoria, South Africa, and Michael Nicholas Williams of DeKalb, Texas; three daughters: Shannen Alexis Williams of Brunswick, Georgia, Phillana Oneida Williams of New Rochelle, New York, and Victoria Marie Williams of Fairburn, Georgia; his parents: John Henry and Helen Ingram Williams of Brunswick, Georgia; one brother: Matthew Williams of Brunswick, Georgia; two sisters: Delores A. (Herbert) Baker of Fairfax, South Carolina and Amelia M. (John) Jenkins of Brunswick, Georgia; eighteen grandchildren: Kenneth A. Moore Jr., Brook R. Williams, Wendell L. Williams Jr., Stephanie N. Simpson, Maliq Moore, Kennedy Moore, Maliqua Harris, Nadia Williams, David J. Williams, Alphonso Harris Jr., Kamryn Williams, Natalie Williams, Nia Williams, Ariel E. Fraser, Alkexander Cash, Astin E. Frasier, and Dana Williams; one great-grandchild: Journee Moore; and many other relatives and friends.
