Curtis White, 53, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life Monday, November 4, 2013 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mr. White was born Aug. 22, 1960, in Texarkana, Ark. He was a plumber, a Mason, a member and deacon of Oak Street Baptist Church and an Army veteran.
Survivors include three daughters, Brittany Doakes and Jelisa Doakes of Texarkana and Breyonna White of Little Rock; four sisters, Lottie Chequita of Detroit, Mich., Mildred Yolanda Hartfield of Dallas and Cassandra Chuculate and Mildred Chuculate of Talequah, Okla.; one special friend, Margie Doakes; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at House of Refuge with the Rev. L.B. George officiating. Burial will be in Honey Grove Cemetery, Atlanta, Texas, under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
