Obituary of Barbara Edwards Patterson

Barbara Jean Edwards Patterson, 59, a native of Texarkana, Texas and current resident of Dallas, Texas, departed this life Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Patterson joined Sunset Missionary Baptist Church at a young age. She was a Texas Senior High School graduate and a retired LVN. She was predeceased by her parents: Bobby Lynn and Doris Cartwright Edwards and one brother: Kenneth D. "Pokie" Allen. To cherish her memory, she leaves her husband: Arthur Patterson of Dallas, Texas; one son: Robert Hopkins, Jr of Dallas, Texas; one daughter: Lideidra (Palisher) Johnson of Texarkana, Texas; six brothers: Ronnie (Deborah) Allen, John Allen, Jr., Michael C. Allen, Gary E. Allen, Dennis R. Allen--all of Texarkana, Texas, and Leonard Parks of Texarkana, Arkansas; five sisters: Angela Edwards of Texarkana, Arkansas, Linda Allen of Dallas, Texas, Charlotte Allen-Nash of Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma, Patricia White of Kansas City, and Marsha (Jimmy) Handy of Texarkana, Texas; one grandchild: Robert Hopkins, III; her favorite cousin, Kelvin Blunt of Dallas, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.
