Obituary of Amelia Long

Amelia "Pam" Long, 75, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, March 17, 2014, in Texarkana.
Mrs. Long was born July 24, 1938, in Texarkana. She was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Charles Edward Stewart of Tucson, Ariz.; six daughters, Jo Anna White, Teresa White, Sandra Kay White, Pearlena White, Sharon Kay Marshall and Doris Ann Long of Texarkana; one brother, Hardin Johnson of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Dorthy Johnson of Texarkana and Mary Coleman of Los Angeles; 35 grandchildren; 130 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at House of Refuge with the Rev. James Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
