Ray Charles "Harper" Moss, 58, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, April 6, 2014, in a local hospital. Mr. Moss was born March 23, 1956, in Magnolia, Ark. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Survivors include four brothers, Curtis Harper of Fort Smith, Ark., Timothy Moss of Los Angeles, Carl Moss of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Danny Moss of Las Vegas; two sisters, Debby Harper Beene of Haynesville, La., and Annette Harper of Texarkana; one special friend, Cathy Burnett; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop James Moss officiating. Burial will be in King Hill Cemetery, Magnolia, Ark., under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
