Obituary of Chester Burris

Chester Burris, 67, of Ogden, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014, in an Ashdown, Arkansas hospital. Mr. Burris was born March 13, 1947, in Ogden. He was retired from Foreman Cement Plant. Survivors include four daughters, Lisa Burris, Gloria Weston, Kathy Burris and Kimberly Greene; six sisters, Willie Green, Shirley Burris, Mary Green, Verlyn Gulley, Rhonda Gulley and Cynthia Hughes; three brothers, Roy Burris, Rocky Burris and Bobby Burris; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Haney Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Burris officiating. Burial will be in Armstrong Cemetery under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home.
