Obituary of Lena Denmark

Lena Denmark, 90, of Hughes Springs, Texas, departed this life on December 30, 2011 in a Hughes Springs Nursing Home. She was affiliated with Liberty United Methodist Church. In addition, she was a licensed beautician and an Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Pete Denmark, Sr., daughter, Ima Faye Denmark, and parents, Jesse and Minnie Jones. To cherish her memory, she leaves on son, Thurman Pete Denmark, Jr., of Dallas, Texas; on daughter, Deola Doddy of Hughes Springs, Texas; five brothers, Isiah Jones of Hughes Springs, Texas, T.W. Jones of Dallas, Texas, Clyde Edward Jones of Dallas, Texas, Eddie James Jones of Dallas, Texas, and Al Jimmerson of Greenville, Texas; six sisters, Doris Louise Williams of DeSoto, Texas, Elizabeth Sneed of DeSoto, Texas, Alice Goodman of Gilmer, Texas, Leatha Gosoby of DeSoto, Texas, Jessie Shelley of Dallas, Texas, and Johnnie Clark of DeSoto, Texas; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
