Obituary of Ethel Avery Forte

Ethel Avery Forte, 56, died December 28, 2011 at a local nursing home. She was a Jehovah's Witness and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Austin of Texarkana, Texas and Pleas James Avery of Texarkana, Texas. To cherish her memory, she leaves five sons, Calvin Avery of Texarkana, Texas, Willie Colbert of Texarkana, Texas, Christopher Colbert of Newport, Arkansas, and Robby Colbert of Texarkana, Texas; two daughters, Alma "Angel" Colbert of Texarkana, Texas, Jessica Ray Forte of Houston, Texas; five brothers, Herbert Huey, Rev. Lavelle Franklin, Billy Joe Franklin, Rev. Roy Bailey, George Avery--all of Texarkana, Texas, and Cedric Avery of Beaumont, Texas; five sisters, Ruth Giles of Texarkana, Texas, Clara Franklin, and Joe Ann Frankl8in and Pricilla Huey--all of Texarkana, Texas, and Elaine Willis (Gerald) of Nash, Texas; twenty grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
