Jesse Taylor, 62, of Hooks, Texas, passed away January 3, 2012 at his home. Mr. Taylor was born June 30, 1949 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Jesse and Wanda Brawner Taylor. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Hooks, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Louise Taylor. His survivors include one brother, James Taylor, Sr. of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mary West of Warsaw, Missouri and Joyce Burks of Lincoln, Missouri; one aunt, Virgie Dowdle of Texarkana, Texas; two uncles, Edgar Taylor of Hanahan, Louisiana and Billy Brawner of Edmond, Oklahoma; a number of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
