Vivian Gray, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life, Sunday, September 7, 2014, at her home. Ms. Gray was born Jan. 4, 1955, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a former employee of the Housing Authority of Texarkana, Texas, and member and former secretary of Polly Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Ansan Meadows and Aman Gray; one sister, Bess Gamble-Williams; two brothers, Gregory Gamble and Stacy Gamble of Dunbar, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Marquez Mixon, Chaylie Gray and Kaylin Gray; and a number of other relatives and friends. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Polly Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Reginald Reid Sr. officiating. Entombment will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body may be viewed from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
