Janice’s family, we are sorry for your loss: Though death brings sorrow and tears, and it is hard to adjust to the absence of a loved one; comfort and strength can be gained from the assurance that Almighty God “will actually swallow up death forever, and _ will certainly wipe the tears from all faces” (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4). Psalm 46:1 informs us that Almighty God can help now, during sorrow.
