Obituary of Linda Rutherford

Linda Faye Rutherford, 60, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 in Texarkana, Texas. Ms. Rutherford was born March 26, 1954, in Benton County, Miss. She was a licensed vocational nurse with Bowie County Correctional Center and a member of Charity Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Andrea Collins of Benton County; four brothers, Stacy Alexander and Tracy Alexander of Benton County and Jason Rutherford and Brent Rutherford of Texarkana; five sisters, Diane Rutherford, Carolyn Cochran and Winifred Reaves of Benton County, Demetria Rutherford of Texarkana and Hazel Mabry of Houston; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mount Grove Baptist Church with Overseer Kenneth Reid officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
