Obituary of Freddie Brown

Freddie Brown, 61 years old, of Ashdown, Arkansas, passed away November 21, 2014 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Mr. Brown was born July 20, 1953, in Texarkana, Ark. He was retired from the City of Ashdown. Survivors include his mother, Rosie Lee Jones of Ashdown; five brothers, Charles Jones and Eugene Jones of Ashdown, Edward Gladney of Texarkana, William Jones of Camden, Ark., and Eddie Gladney of Los Angeles; 11 sisters, Shelia Jones, Ruby Jewell Threadgill and Lilia Jones of Ashdown, Mary Brown, Rose Thompson, Emma Carrol and Clover Gomer of Texarkana, Gracie Jones of Wake Village, Texas, Annette Pierce of San Antonio, Alberta Jones of Conroe, Texas, and Helen Jones of Chappel, Texas; 33 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. Cory Woods officiating. Burial will be in Rhodes Cemetery under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home.
