Isiah Jones, 88, of Hughes Springs, Texas, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Longview, Texas.
Mr. Jones was born March 31, 1926, in Daingerfield, Texas. He was a retired railroad employee, a member of Liberty United Methodist Church, Hughes Springs, and a Navy veteran.
Survivors include one son, Michael Jones of Los Angeles; one daughter, Regina Scott of Homer, La.; three brothers, T.W. Jones, Clyde Edward Jones and Eddie James Jones of Dallas; six sisters, Doris Louise Williams, Elizabeth Sneed, Leatha Goosby and Johnnie Clark of Desoto, Texas, Alice Goodman of Gilmer, Texas, and Jessie Shelley of Dallas; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Liberty United Methodist Church with the Rev. George M. Hancock officiating under the direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home.
