Willie Ballard, 67, of Little Rock, Arkansas, departed this life Friday, December 5, 2014 in Little Rock. Mr. Ballard was born Oct. 3, 1947, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a laborer and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Bryles Ballard of Little Rock; three daughters, Cheryl Ballard of Atlanta, Ga., and Tisa Bryles and Tasha Bryles of Little Rock; his mother and stepfather, Alice and Floyd Paxton of Texarkana; five brothers, Ira Joe Ballard of Wrightville, Ark., Tommy Forte, Kennedy Forte and Jody Paxton of Texarkana and Billie Forte of Dallas; one grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Ardy Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Online registration is at richardsonhillfunerahome.com.
