Joyce A. Forté, 60, of Ashdown, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at her home. She was a member of Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Ashdown, Arkansas. And she was a production worker. Her father, Willie McClain, mother, Oddie Parker-McClain, three brothers, Charles McClain, Curtis McClain, and M.C. McClain; three sisters, Cummie Coleman, Bettye Briggs, and Catherine Cheatham; and grandaughter, Fantasia Forte, preceded her in death. To cherish her memory, she leaves two sons, Lemuel X. Forté (LaTasha) of Ashdown, Arkansas and Cedric L. Forté of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Felicia T. Forté of Ashdown, Arkansas; two brothers, Cleo McClain, Sr. of Los Angeles, California and Walter McClain (Mary) of Wilton, Arkansas; one sister, Alice Faye French of Wilton, Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Gloria McClain of Dallas, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Richard Cheatham, Sr. of Wilton, Arkansas and Ira Coleman of Wilton, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Ryan Forté, Candice Forté, and Bliss Forté; and a host of other nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
