Andreas Benard Austin, 46, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, in Overland Park, Kan. Mr. Austin was born Aug. 2, 1968, in Texarkana, Texas. He was employed with Cedar Rapids Steel Transport Co. and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Idrianna Inez Austin of Austin; one son, Qwyntale Deion Surney Austin of Carrollton; his fathers and stepmother, Troy and Paula Austin and Fred Washington of Texarkana; 10 siblings, Kimberly Austin Parrish, Ashley Moore, Donny Williams, Debra Washington Goodnight, Fredrick Washington and Shelitha Green of Texarkana, Sharon Bedford of Long Beach, Calif., Barbara Austin of Watts, Calif., and Linda Parker and Carzet Parker of Dallas; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Baptist Church with the Revs. David Watson and K.D. Hill officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body may be viewed noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the church. Online registration is at richardsonhillfuneralhome.com.
