Mr. Lafayette Charles Strickland, 92, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away January 21, 2015 at his home.
He was a World War II veteran from 1943-1946, and he was a carpenter.
His daughter, Carmen Delissa Quilia; parents, Dottie B. Strickland, and Wylie Strickland, Sr.; and two brothers, Wylie Strickland, Jr. and Osborne Strickland preceded him in death.
Three sons, Charles L. Strickland, Jr., Kenneth D. Strickland, and Wylie R. Strickland--all of Los Angeles, California; one brother, Marcellus Strickland of Lancaster, Texas; and one sister, Doris "Joseph Sr." Hale Sr., of Little Rock, Arkansas; six grandchildren; four nieces; thirteen nephews; and many great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, and other relatives and friends will cherish his memory.
