Mr. Millage Brown, 88, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in a Shreveport, Louisiana hospital. Mr. Brown was born May 28, 1926, in Hooks, Texas. He was a truck driver with the city of Texarkana, Texas, a member of Red Bank Baptist Church, and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one son, Millage Brown Jr. and one daughter, Debra Wrightner. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nina Fay Brown of Texarkana; four daughters and one son-in-law, Ellica Harlston of Lynwood, Calif., Sandra Brown and Reshaylon Brown of Texarkana and Debra and Maurice Asberry of Houston; two sisters, Pearlene Douglas and Faye Ann Butler of Wasco, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Atlanta Street Church of Christ with Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Online registration is at richardsonhillfuneralhome.com.
