Lela Terry McGary, 65, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life Friday, August 14, 2015, at her home. Mrs. McGary was born July 22, 1950, in Ashdown, Arkansas. She was a quality control inspector with Day and Zimmerman and a member of Mount Orange Baptist Church who served as an usher and treasurer of the Women's Ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Napoleon McGary. Survivors include four stepsons, Napoleon, Ronald, Michael and Vanner; three stepdaughters, Stephanie, Alice and Michelle; two brothers, Albert Terry of Texarkana and Floyd Walton Jr. of Little Rock; two sisters, Bernell Terry Gregory and Earlee Terry Pitts of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Orange Baptist Church with the Rev. Leslie Brembry officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
