Floyd Paxton, 88, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life October 28, 2015 in Texarkana. Mr. Paxton was born October 29, 1927 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was retired from the Crisso Plant. One son, Willie Ballard; two daughters, Lucille Ford and Celestine Ford; and his parents, Pearl Payton and William Payton; two brothers, Willie Lee Paxton and David Paxton; two sisters, Elizabeth Ford and Irene Ivory predeceased him. He is survived by his wife, Alice Paxton of Texarkana, Texas; five sons, Jody Paxton of Texarkana, Texas, Tony Forte of Naples, Texas, Billy Forte of Huntsville, Texas, Kenny Wayne Forte of Texarkana, Texas, Ira J. Ballard of Wrightville, Arkansas; three brothers, Joe Paxton of Texarkana, Texas, Jeffery Paxton of Texarkana, Texas, and Miller Paxton of Texarkana, Arkansas; two sisters, Gracie Jordan (DeRoy) of Texarkana, Arkansas and Florence Butler of Texarkana, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Lesa Jones (Johnny) of Hooks, Texas and Leslie Dixon of Texarkana, Texas; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
