Obituary of Edith Hill

Edith M. Hill, 74, of Texarkana, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, in a local hospital. Ms. Hill was born April 6, 1941, in Houston. She was a retired teacher with TISD and a pastor with Living Word Church, Nacogdoches, Texas. Her survivors include one son, Billy Hill Jr. of Locust Grove, Virginia; one daughter, Jeanette Hill of Texarkana, Texas; five brothers, Earl Moseley, William Moseley, Marcus Moseley, Alan Moseley and Dorsey Moseley of Houston; five sisters, Yvonne Boozer, Michaelle Jones, Sherry Reid, Vernetta Moseley and Janet Moseley of Houston; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Her services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Grove Baptist Church with Elder Murphy McCoy officiating, and her burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Ms. Hill's visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home, and her body may be viewed 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
