Obituary of Leonia Waller

Leonia Waller, 85, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, in a local hospital. Mrs. Waller was born April 23, 1930, in Stephens, Arkansas. She was a production worker, a beautician and a member of Mount Zion First Missionary Baptist Church. Her survivors include three sons, Raymond Waller and Kenneth Waller of Texarkana and Ronnie Waller of Fort Worth, Texas; nine daughters, Alma Gray and Carolyn Byers of Texarkana, Cunnye Martin of Ennis, Texas, Sandra Yarbough and Debbie Waller of Grand Prairie, Texas, Diane Dillard, Paula Lawson and Sharntaine Spratt of Arlington, Texas, and Jocelyn Waller of Dallas; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Mrs. Waller's services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Wesley McDuffie officiating, and her visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home, and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Her burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
