Obituary of LaRay Dancer

LaRay Dancer, 44, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 in Texarkana. Mr. Dancer was born Nov. 14, 1971, in Texarkana. Survivors include three sons, DeVonte Dancer Crawford, Deonte Dancer Crawford and Jaitavion Allen of Texarkana; two daughters, Bobbie Ray'nika Nicole Minnifield of Texarkana and Kiara Dancer Crawford of Texarkana; his mother, Martha Newton of Texarkana; three brothers, Desjuan Dancer and Dedric Hilliard of Texarkana and Eric Marshall of Los Angeles; four sisters, Kawanna Works of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Remelle Dancer, LaSharon Dancer and Ariel Dancer of Texarkana; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Mr. Dancer's services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Deliver Oak Street Baptist Church with the Rev. L.B. George Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral home. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
