Obituary of Vernon Jones

Vernon C. Jones, 73, of Little Elm, Texas, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, in Frisco, Texas. Mr. Jones was born Jan. 1, 1943, in Frisco, Texas. He was a merchandiser, a member of Friendship Baptist Church and an Air Force veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Mrs. Judy C. Jones; sister Ruby Metcalfe. Mr. Jones leaves to cherish his memory: (1) son Vernon (Nicole) Jones Jr. of Corona, CA; (2) daughters Leah ( Manny) Von Borstel of Tustin, CA and Robin Jones Bruce of Little Elm, Texas; (1) sister Betty (Timothy) Evans of Texarkana, Texas (2) Stepsisters Evelyn Henderson and Mattie Martin both of Texarkana, Texas; and (5) Grandchildren Jordon Von Borstel, Emani Von Borstel, Jalen Jones, Alyssa Jones, Kobe Anthony; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
