Obituary of Shequlyn Watson

Shequlyn LaShawn Watson, 42, of Nash, Texas, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016, in Texarkana, Texas. Ms. Watson was born June 25, 1973, in Linden, Texas. She was executive director of Netrac and a member of Eastern Star Marietta Delight No. 173 and Hickory Hill Baptist Church. Her survivors include her father, Howard Watson of Marietta, Texas; one brother, Kedrell Watson I of Marietta, Texas; one sister-in-law, Regina Watson of Marietta; two nephews, Asa Watson of Desoto, Texas, and K.C. Watson II of Marietta; one niece, Kelci Watson of Marietta; one special uncle, Samuel Johnson; one special friend, James Koontz; and a number of other relatives. Ms. Watson's services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Keener officiating. Her burial will be in Floyd Valley Cemetery under the direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
