Obituary of Florine Taylor

Florine Taylor, 94, of Houston, Texas (by way of DeKalb, Texas), died Sunday, January 23, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Her loved ones affectionately called her "Mama Poochie." Mrs. Taylor was a production worker. She was affiliated with Bethlehem Baptist Church. And she was an Eastern Star, an usher, and a member of the Ever Ready Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and five sisters. To cherish her memory, she leaves one son (and daughter-in-law), two daughters, fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Her wake will be 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2011 at Richardson Hill Funeral Home, and the funeral will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Bethlehem Baptist Church (DeKalb) with Elder J. Fowler Officiating.
