Obituary of Timika Evans

Timika L. Evans, 33, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life April 29, 2011 in a Houston, Texas hospital. Timika was a member of Mt. Zion First Missionary Baptist Church, where she was very active as a member of the First Gospel Choir, Usher Board, and the Ruth Circle (Mission). She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Samari Covington and Mark Covington of Texarkana, Texas; her mother, Betty Lynn Evans and her father Timothy Lewis Evans of Texarkana, Texas; adopted parents, Pastor Billy and Debra Rembert, Sr. of Texarkana, Texas; brothers Richard (Lashell) Coleman of Texarkana, Texas, Terrance Evans of Texarkana, Texas, Ulyesses (Heather) Evans of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Timothy Evans, Jr. of Los Angeles, California; and three sisters, Yolanda Duckett (Bryant) of Dallas, Texas, Rhea Coleman of Texarkana, Texas, and Denita Evans of Los Angeles, California. To those whose lives she touched, her memory will be cherished; for she was a sweet, loving, and lovely young woman. Her wake will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2011 at Richardson Hill Funeral Home, and her funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Mt. Zion First Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Rembert will deliver the eulogy.
