Obituary of Warren Thurston

Warren Thurston, 75, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life May 28, 2011 at a local hospital. Mr. Thurston was the owner of Thurston's Electric and Wee People Day School. He was also a musician. And he was a member of Lonoke Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warner Thurston and Annie Thurston. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Betty McGinnis Thurston, of Texarkana, Texas, three sons, David Perry, Sr. (Bonita) of New Boston, Texas, ElMarquis McGinnis of Dallas, Texas, Joseph McGinnis (Kira) of Frisco, Texas; two sisters, Lillie Thurston Hardin, of Texarkana, Texas and Vivian Crittenden of Orlando, Florida; one brother, Richard Thurston of Texarkana, Texas; nine grandchildren, Chelsea McGinnis, Joseph McGinnis, II, Joshua McGinnis, Kedrick McGinnis, Brandon Dixon, Christian Cuellar, David Perry, Jr., Kyandus Perry, Shineka Whitaker; two great-grandchildren, Brandon Dixon, Jr., Tyrone Whitaker, III; one Goddaughter, Raven Ivory; one special niece, Wanalta Jackson, whom he raised; and a number of other relatives and friends.
