Obituary of Roosevelt Nelson

Roosevelt "Ro-Ro" Nelson, Jr., 49, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life June 28, 2011 in a Minden, Louisiana hospital. Mr. Nelson was affiliated with the Atlanta Street Church of Christ and was retired from Roy Surveying. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Georgia Nelson of Texarkana, Texas; two sons, D'Angelo Walker (Chardae) of Bossier, Louisiana and Worthy George of Jefferson, Texas; four daughters, Kayla Bruce of Washington, D.C., Whitney Nelson, Alexandria Hallee Nelson, and Katylen Nelson--all of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers, Leonard Nelson of Phoenix, Arizona and Frank Nelson (LaWanna) of Texarkana, Texas; two sisters, Lula "Sweetpea" Woodward of California and Marie Harris of Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren, M'Kayla, D'Angelo II, and Nevaeh; and many other relatives and friends.
