Alberta Cellers, 78, of Texarkana, Texas, departed this life on August 6, 2011 in Texarkana, Texas. She was a member of Hamilton Memorial A.M.E. Church, a professional cook at C&J's Restaurant, and a member of the Texarkana Country Club, Liberty Eylau ISD College Bowl, and Mohan Cafe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavorn Cellers, Sr.; one son, Lavorn Cellers, Jr. of Texarkana, Texas; her parents Pearline Bowman and Roosevelt Brown; and three sisters, Betty Collier, Annie Lister, and Hattie Sims. To cherish her memory, she leaves four daughters: Verna Glenns of California, Cherry Coffee of Texarkana, Texas, Regina Mathis of Denton, Texas, and Donna Cellars of Texarkana, Texas; one son, Algy Cellars of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Verlene Delaney of Deberry, Texas; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; special family friends: Jackie Williams of Denton, Texas; Joe Livingston of Texarkana, Texas, Minnie Brown of Arlington, Texas, and Clara Brown Warren of Arlington, Texas; and host of other relatives and friends.
